Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Leh Airport

All the participants have to reach Delhi by 03:00 Pm. In Delhi You have to reach at Rama Krishna Ashram Marg Metro station, Piller no 09. You need to reach at above address by yourself and from there our journey will start towards Manali and our Team will share all kind of contact details to reach easily at Volvo boarding point where our Volvo bus will be waiting for you. We will start our overnight journey towards Manali.

Day 2Arrival at Manali

  • Early morning you will reached at Manali, from there you need to reach at hotel.
  • For Hotel details you can contact concern sales person and proceed with the check-in. After check-in into the hotel you can take some rest and visit nearby places at Manali like Mall road, Hadimba Devi Temple.
  • In evening you will have a briefing session at 7:00pm there you’ll meet our
    representative and brief you about the Trip.
  • Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 3 Manali to Sarchu via Atal Tunnel

  • Early morning after breakfast we will move towards Serchu.
  • Travel distance and time (180km/7-8hrs).
  • The Atal tunnel which is 9km long and it is the longest highway tunnel above 10000 feet (3,048 m) in the world.
  • On the way we will visit the beautiful valley of Lahaul and you need to cross Sisu, Keylong, Jispa and Darcha.
  • Baralacha pass (15,910 ft) and you get to cross the snow covered Baralacha. Serchu (Border) between Himachal and Ladakh).
  • Overnight stay at swiss camp in Serchu.

Day 4Sarchu to Leh via Tanglang La

  • Travel distance and travel time (240 kms/ 07 – 08 hrs) approx. Crossing 22 Gata loops, Nakila pass, Lachungla pass, and More planes (Kiang ChuThang) 45kms straight road.
  • You need to cross Tanglang la pass (5328m/17480ft). It is the highest pass on
    Manali-Leh highway.
  • Leh Altitude- 3500 meters.

Day 5Leh to Nubra via Khardung La

  • Travel distance and time (130 kms / 5-6 hours)
  • We ride through the epic Khardung La Pass (17,982 feet), the highest motorable road.
  • The valley is known for the sand dunes with white rolling sands, and the sight of the double humped Bactrian Camels.
  • Diskit Monastery, the monastery has a 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the shayok river.
  • You can go for adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities, you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and Double humped camel ride.
  • Overnight stay at De Reeva Hundar in Hunder.

Day 6Hundar Turtuk Hundar

  • Today we will explore Turtuk village and back to Hundar.
  • Travel distance and time (180 km / 6-7 hours)
  • It is the northernmost village in India situated in the Nubra Valley, on the banks of the Shayok river. It is the Balti region that was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control over this important area.
  • Turtuk is the last out-post of India at Thang after which Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins.
  • Turtuk is famous for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots.
  • Overnight stay at De Reeva Hundar in Hunder.

Day 7Hundar to Pangong Lake

  • We will ride towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China.
  • Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /210km approx).
  • You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprise to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of mountains.
  • Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high altitude salt water lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India.
  • Pangong lake altitude 4,225m.
  • Overnight stay at De Reeva Pangong.

Day 8Pangong Lake to Leh

  • Today we will head back to Leh, you will be able to capture a beautiful Time Lapse of the sunrise at the Pangong Lake this morning.
  • On our way back we cross Chang La pass at an elevation of 5360 mt.
  • We will take a break for a moment to enjoy breathtaking views and the gorgeous views of rolling valleys.
  • Less than 20km for Leh town, we will stop to visit Thiksey Monastery built in 1430 AD and the Rancho’s school .
  • We will Reach Leh by evening .
  • Overnight stay at hotel Capital City Ladakh.

Day 9Leh to Wakha via Lamayuru

  • Today Morning we’ll depart towards Wakha.
  • Travel distance and time (180km/6-7hrs).
  • Enroute we’ll cross many famous places like Gurudwara Pathar Sahab, Magnetic Hill, Sangam Point which is the confluence of Indus and Zanskar river and Sham Valley etc.
  • Lamayuru popularly known for its Monastery and Moonland, a picturesque landscape resembles to the surface of the moon.
  • Crossing Namkila Pass and Fotula Pass
  • You get to visit Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek (stone curved statue).
  • Overnight stay at Wakha.

Day 10Wakha to Srinagar via Zojila

  • In the morning we will leave towards Srinagar.
  • Travel distance and time (170km/6-7 hrs).
  • Enroute we’ll visit War Memorial at Drass, Drass is world’s second coldest place.
  • On the way we will cross the famous Zojila pass.
  • Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 11Departure Home

Early morning after breakfast transfer to Srinagar airport to board flight back to destination. Journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.

  • Cancellations are made between 15 to 20 days from the date of travel then 50% of the total trip will be charged. 
  • Cancellations are made between 0 to 5 days from the date of travel then 70% of the total trip will be charged.

Refund Policy

Refund amount will be processed within 2 week on business days.

What is the best time to visit Leh Ladakh?

The best months to visit Leh Ladakh are the months from June to August. If one is interested in travelling to Ladakh even in cold weather, we provide Leh Ladakh SUV trips in the month of March-April-May as well – you can experience the different Leh  Ladakh and get to enjoy the snow as well. Since the months of June and July will be peak tourist season there’ll be a huge inflow of people, to avoid big crowds and to enjoy a calmer Ladakh you can visit in the month of March-April-May also.

How do you prevent altitude sickness when travelling?

Anyone travelling 12,000 ft above sea level will be having difficulty breathing especially on the passes – khardungla pass 17,582 ft. We recommend our travellers to take a complete rest the first day so that you can get acclimated to the weather. We also recommend keeping yourself hydrated. In case of an emergency, an oxygen cylinder will be provided by us and will be carried in the car for whole journey.

What is the connectivity in Ladakh?

Jio connections is available in most part of Ladakh, if you have postpaid sim you can enjoy jio connections. Besides jio, bsnl and airtel also works in Leh.

Are kids allowed on the trip?

Yes, kids above 5 years of age can travel long routes such as Leh Ladakh. It is recommended to carry warmer clothes so that it will be a comfortable journey the whole SUV trip.

What are the types of vehicles for SUV trips?

We provide comfortable rides for our travellers since the journey is usually long. The cars available in Ladakh SUV trip are – Innova, xylo, Scorpio. What is the average travel duration each day?

Since the region and valleys of Ladakh are scattered vastly, there are overnight stays in each place and that’s why the travel duration will be around 5-6 hours minimum and at most 7 hours daily.

Yes, you will be driven around by a local driver with years of experience and is very familiar with the roads of Leh Ladakh, Manali and Srinagar.
